7 medically-applicable ultra-pure water equipment overview:

Raw water enters the system and flows through the resin/membrane interior and exterior.

The resin captures dissolved ions in the water.

Ions are then separated by electrodes, with cations moving towards positive poles and anions towards negative poles.

Cations pass through cation membranes and exit the resin/membrane combination.

Anions pass through anion membranes and exit as well.

Concentrated ions are removed via waste flow routes while purified water exits from within the resin/membrane.
