The boiler should be equipped with a low water level alarm and high steam pressure alarm which are connected to an audible warning device such as a bell or buzzer. The evaporator type shall be direct evaporation using internal combustion heat source and indirect heat transfer through tubes submerged in water bath inside the shell for efficient heat transfer between hot flue gases flowing over them on one side and cold feedwater flowing through tubes on other side.
